Strength

Without making any drastic changes, you are still in a position to make small ones which will help resolve some of the ugliness, and even though this situation is not nearly as complex as you think it is, honesty (both of yourself and the issue) is still required. Taking responsibility for your part in this will go a long way towards a resolution you can live with and will also be an empowering experience for you.
