In the case of this card, it means that there are some significant issues at hand: one (or more) in the mundane, every day world of your life that is either being ignored entirely or is not being dealt with effectively due to inner obstacles or blocks not being cleared, thus freeing you to eliminate the more unpleasant issues in your present life. This sort of inner house cleaning is never an easy task but it is essential in order to summon the strength, courage and clarity needed to maintain control over how you handle your outer life and all the issues that arise therein.
Once again, as written in yesterday's reading for this card: You need to find the balance between outward courage and determination in facing the obstacles in your life and confronting the inner traits and personality issues that can become a detriment to your personal success. Strength is not only about tackling life's trials and tribulations but it also gives us the opportunity to come to terms with those destructive behaviors we all possess: egotism, impulsiveness, anger, pettiness. Allowing our more unhealthy impulses to gain the upper hand prevents us from developing a greater sense of self, and in gaining that deeper self-knowledge, we are then more adequately equipped to face the challenges our day to day life presents: work woes, health and relationship issues, money troubles.
