Ten of Swords

Although this might not be of your own making, you're ending one phase of your life and about to begin the next. Circumstances require you to act to resolve this painful situation and although things are very stressful, a clean break is essential in order for you to move on with your life. It may be a relationship that has run its course, or perhaps a work situation no longer suits you. It may even be that your way of thinking is no longer benefiting you. Once you have faced your conflict and released yourself from this present crisis, you can begin your bright new future with less struggle and less distress. Change is never easy, but when we are able to face our difficulties with grace, strength and a clear head, only then can we realize how capable we truly are.

The Golden deck is inspired by the works of the Middle Ages and Early Renaissance, yet is still very modern and fresh. This deck is similar to the Rider-Waite-Smith deck in terms of its traditional imagery.

Ten of Swords

One phase of your life is ending and another is just beginning. This change may have been forced upon you, rather than be of your own making, and while it may be an uncomfortable process to go through, it will mark the release of whatever has been holding you back. This could be anything from a work situation to a relationship or even an outdated way of thinking that no longer serves you. This may feel like a crisis right now, but it will work out in your favor and you will grow from this experience. Being able to see the whole picture very clearly will enable you to come to terms with what has transpired, to see that the 'death' of this circumstance is essential in order for new ideas, new behaviors and new relationships to develop.

Knight of Swords and Ten of Swords

Card One. What You Seek. Knight of Swords. You are looking for intellectual stimulation and a broadening of your knowledge. Often this comes in the form of a conflict or a sudden and dramatic change to your life. Perhaps you're moving your home, or starting a new job, or simply seeking a new challenge to make life much more interesting than it's been. If you're finding yourself swept along in the middle of some dramatic event, keep in mind that this is going to be a very fleeting thing and is ultimately not going to be as satisfying as you wish.

Card Two. What Will Come to You Unbidden. Ten of Swords. One phase of your life is ending and another is just beginning. This change may have been forced upon you, rather than be of your own making, and while it may be an uncomfortable process to go through, it will mark the release of whatever has been holding you back. This could be anything from a work situation to a relationship or an outdated way of thinking that no longer serves you. This may feel like a crisis right now, but it will work out in your favor and you will grow from this experience.
