Five of Pentacles and The Emperor

Card One. What You Have. Five of Pentacles. You're currently feeling overwhelmed by life's circumstances and not sure how to move forward and thus feel better again. Is there something missing in your life? Have you been ill? Look closely and you'll find the support you need. It may not come from an expected place, but it is there, waiting for you to embrace it. If you're feeling as though you've accidentally taken the wrong turn on your path somewhere, you need to address the weaker parts of the spiritual, physical and psychological areas of your life. By shoring them up and tending to them as needed, you'll feel less an outsider in your own existence.

Card Two. What You Seek. The Emperor. You wish to be stronger and more dynamic and to do so you must find your more masculine self, seek the hidden extrovert within and channel your power energy. Get organized, take control of your life and in using your intellect, as well as bit of good old fashioned intuition and some careful reasoning, you can achieve what you seek. Work hard and stand firm and what you desire will come to you.

The Emperor

You've had some plans in mind and have given some thought to one day making them a reality but as yet have not really taken the necessary steps to manifest them. Well, now is the time to put those ideas into action. You need to take control of the situation, channel your creative energies and high ambitions and make your dreams a reality. Worldly achievement, as well as greater intellectual knowledge, are high priorities for you right now, but in order to achieve them you must work hard, get organized and have the courage of your convictions. The Emperor signifies a highly dynamic energy and one that will make your dreams come true if you can harness his power and authority.

The Emperor

You need to take an active role in the organizing of your life. You will need to use your intellect, your reasoning skills and consider all decisions you make very carefully. By taking control of your present situation you will hold all the power and as such will be able to direct the course your life is now taking. If you are able to successfully undertake this process, you can make your dreams a reality. If you are thinking of starting a new career, a new business venture, or perhaps purchasing a new home, now is the time to do so. You are feeling very ambitious at this time and worldly success can be yours by establishing a solid foundation on which to build your hopes and dreams.

The Emperor

You have the courage of your convictions and are able to follow through with whatever you've started. You're good at organizing your thoughts and actions with intellect and reason. You have the power to fully direct the course of your life and will be able to translate your dreams into reality if you're willing to work hard in order to establish a solid foundation for your life. While The Empress represents the feminine aspect of our selves: intuitive, receptive and nurturing, The Emperor is the dynamic extrovert that represents the outgoing masculine nature within us and together they form two halves of a whole. To have them both balanced and active within us is what brings us to total completion of our selves.
